The Big Apple

So here I am in the midst of New York, surrounded by amazing fashion and equally amazing food and a heat that I did not expect.

Not really sure how I am going to go back ‘home’ to Canberra because in the few days I have been here, the city, has once again has stolen my heart. After being on a self guided food safari, mainly eating my way through the best cupcakes and cheesecakes from Magnolia’s bakery and Georgetown Cupcake’s I decided it was time to address my fear and start shooting street style.

We Are Found in the Big Apple, and can you believe one of the first people I meet is called Apple!

This gorgeous soul was snapped working at J.Galt Basic& Vintage Tees (an awesome vintage store on 44 Prince Street).

We all need to be a little more like Alan

We all need to be a little more like Alan

Have you met Alan Jessop?

The other day I was sitting at Gus' Cafe in the City in Canberra. It was a bit of a dreary day, the rain had just cleared. I glanced outside the window and saw him, Alan.

This man has been a cornerstone of Canberra life. For as long as I remember I've seen Alan, rain, hail or shine out in the city collecting donations for those less fortunate than us.

He has a sense of greatness about him. When I spoke with him you could genuinely feel his kindness. I even think it's safe to say he glowed.

For over 28 years he has devoted on average 8 hours a day, 3 days a week. That's over 34,944 hours spent on giving

Giving to others expecting nothing in return. Think about that...

How many hours do you spend on giving?

If we all could be a little more kind and give a little more the world would be a better place. 󾬑
